Dust Radio are comprised of Vocalist/Harmonica player Paddy Wells and Guitarist Tom Jackson. Jackson spent his youth listening to cassettes of Muddy Waters and Elmore James, while Wells was inspired by the likes of Sonny Boy Williamson and Paul Butterfield, honing his craft around the French Quarter of New Orleans in recent years. Both musicians have developed a deep understanding of the blues by immersing themselves in the music.
“Shotgun Shack” is the debut E.P. from the fresh and vibrant duo, Dust Radio. Composed during the lockdown of 2020, this five-track E.P. is a melting pot of the band’s musical influences and gives a compelling insight into their forthcoming debut album.
Heavily shaped by the blues masters of the past, their style is steeped in the
sound of Southern blues, with traces of Americana and contemporary rock ‘n’ roll.
